Ukrainian Ministry of Economy reported quarterly results on freight car manufacturing, the RZD-Partner reports. In Q1 2016 Ukraine manufactured 320 freight cars (+30% to Q1 2015). In 2015 Ukraine manufactured in total of 1,100 cars. In its peak years (2009 - 2010) in total of 8,000 - 10,000 freight cars were built.
Completion of the metro construction in Krasnoyarsk is to cost 60 - 70 B RUB (0.92 - 1,08 B USD), the TASS quotes Krasnoyarsk Krai Governor Victor Tolokonsky. OAO RZD recalculated the amount of the Moscow - Kazan high-speed railway, the RBC reports. The total budget rose to 1.2 T RUB (18 B USD). OAO RZD First Vice President Alexander Misharin sent a request to the Ministry of Transport requesting 643 B RUB (9.6 B USD) from the Government (earlier 505 B RUB (7.5 B USD) was requested). Moscow Oblast Ministry of Transport expects to launch its first light rail line, the Izvestia reports. The line is to link Podolsk, Domodedovo Airport, Zhukovsky Airport and Ramenskoe.
