KVSZ to Supply 38 Passenger Coaches to Ukrainian Railways

EAEU May Allow Operation of Industrial Shunting Locomotives without Certification
Eurasian Economic Commission (EAEU) may allow operation of shunting locomotives that with extended life until August 2, 2018, the TASS reports. Sweden Opened Corruption Case Against Bombardier for Signaling Equipment Supplies to Azerbaijan
Swedish Police initiated an investigation on Bombardier Transportation, the Novaya Gazeta reports. The company’s executives and associates are suspected in bribing Russian and Azerbaijan railway officials for granting contracts to the Canadian company. Ukrainian Railways has announced a tender for 250 toilet kits at the total of 269.850 M UAH (4.8 M USD), the RZD-Partner reports. The tender was announced by Manufacture Provision Center, Ukrainian Railways’ subsidiary. Therefore, one toilet kit will cost at the maximum of 1.08 UAH (19 K USD). Crimea to Buy Sleepers at 8.7 M USD
Crimean Railway has announced a tender for 93,180 concrete sleepers, the Interfax reports. The starting (maximal) amount of the contract is 485.5 M RUB (8.7 M USD). The sleepers have to have “intermediate connectors” and to be supplied to Crimea in 2017. The tender bids are accepted until April 17. The tender is to be held on April 27. Crimean Railway is managed by the Federal Agency of Railway Transport.
