RZD Invited Japanese Companies to High-Speed Projects

OAO RZD President Oleg Belozerov offered Japanese companies cooperation in high-speed railway construction and operation, the RIA Novosti reports. He made this statement at the “Trade and Industrial Dialogue: Russia - Japan” Forum.

“Japanese colleagues’ experience in high-speed railway construction and operation is important to us”, Mr. Belozerov said. “We invite Japanese companies to consider cooperation in these prospective projects. Japan sets standards in this area”.

He also noted that OAO RZD is to build over 4,000 km of high-speed railways - from Moscow to Kazan, Moscow to St. Petersburg, Moscow to Adler.
