VEB to Grant a 400 M USD Loan to Transmashholding

Vnesheconombank (VEB) might grant 27.5 B RUB (400 M USD) to Transmashholding, the TASS quotes Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev who chairs VEB Executive Board. The decision on the loan is to be taken at the VEB Executive Board meeting.

“We will consider some standard questions as well as critical questions on specific deals”, Mr. Medvedev said. “In particular, I mean granting a 27.5 B RUB loan to Transmashholding”.

The funds will be used to finance leasing supplies of cars to Moscow Metro.

Mr. Medvedev noted that this project is long-term and investment-oriented; it is to be financed from the National Wealth Fund.
