Russia Is More Attractive to Hyperloop Than US - Magomedov

Russia may be more attractive to Hyperloop than the United States, Russian tycoon Ziyavutdin Magomedov said in his interview to RZD-Partner. Earlier Mr. Magomedov’s Caspian VC Partners invested in the Hyperloop project.

“Russia, as the core of the Eurasian transport and logistic system, has to develop new transport and logistic routes”, Mr. Magomedov said. “Hyperloop is highly prospective and required as a new transport. It needs a good route to fully reveal its capabilities”.

Mr. Magomedov also noted that manufacturing localization is part of the Hyperloop project and, therefore, Russian companies might “become contractors, builders, operators and investors”.
