Ukrainian Railways Exports on the Rise

Ukraine’s freight car exports in H1 2016 increased 20%, the RZD-Partner quotes Ukrainian Government report.

The country exported 900 freight cars in H1 2016 (750 cars in H1 2015). It is Ukraine’s first increase in car exports in several years.

In 2015 total exports was 2000 freight cars; in 2014 it was 5000. In 2013 Ukraine exported 20,000 freight cars.

In H1 2016 Ukraine supplied gondola (60%), box (25%), hopper (8%) and tank (4%) cars.
