Uralvagonzavod to Sell UVZ-Logistic By End-2016

Uralvagonzavod has sent our offers for UVZ-Logistic acquisition, the Interfax reports. At least 7 - 8 companies will be bidding for the company.

“We are planning to send out offers to all potential customers”, Uralvagonzavod General Director Oleg Sienko said on Friday. “At least there will be seven or eight bidders”. He did not name any companies but commented that these are either rail operators or their shareholders.

“We would like to close the deal by the end of the year. Four out of eight potential bidders are ready to do that”, Mr. Sienko said. Uralvagonzavod is to sell 100% in the UVZ-Logistic.

Uralvagonzavod is one of Russia’s largest freight car manufacturers. UVZ-Logistic is its captive operator company.
