Uralvagonzavod to Receive 2.34 B USD in Revenue in 2016

Uralvagonzavod expects 2016 revenue of 141.9 B RUB (2.34 B USD), which is +30% to 2015, the Gudok quotes the company’s press service. This amount is 11% higher than the 2012 revenue, when Uralvagonzavod set a financial record (127.5 B RUB = 2.1 B USD).

“We managed to do that thanks to the corporation’s exports of military products and restoring the car-building industry”, Uralvagonzavod reports. “The company’s military exports rose 2.2 times and the rolling stock manufacture rose 2.4 times”.

Uralvagonzavod expects 2016 net profit of 863 M RUB (14.23 M USD).The company received a net loss of 16.1 B RUB (265.4 M USD) in 2015 and net profit of 5.3 B RUB (87.4 M USD) in 2014).

Uralvagonzavod is one of Russia’s largest freight car manufacturers. In December 27 100% of the company was transferred to Rostech, Russia’s multi-industrial holding.
