Aeroexpress to Launch Double-Decker Coaches in 2017

Aeroexpress has not commissioned double-deckers in 2016 due to certification deadlines, RIA Novosti reports. The coaches will be commissioned in 2017. Aeroexpress is to buy 62 double-decker coaches from Stadler at the total of 183.9 M EUR. The first train was to be launched in December 2016. “The certification of Aeroexpress’ double-deckers is ongoing”, Aeroexpress reports. “Five out of 11 trains are already in Russia and are being tested. The trains will be commissioned in 2017. The delay will not affect the contract execution by Stadler”. Aeroexpress is Russia’s largest airport shuttle provider.
