Freight One Bought 1,300 Freight Cars from Uralvagonzavod

Freight One (First Freight Company, PGK) bought 1,300 new gondola cars built by Uralvagonzavod, the Gudok reports.
The new 12-196-02 gondolas have a higher load capacity compared to similar cars (75 tons), freight capacity of 94 cu.m, increased run before first maintenance (500 K km).
The cars will be operated at the West-Siberian Railway.
In March 2017 Uralvagonzavod is to supply additional 1,500 freight cars to Freight One.
Freight One is Russia’s largest railway freight carrier. The company is part of Universal Cargo Logistics Holding (UCL Holding), an international transportation group. Freight One operates 170,000 freight cars of all types. In 2016 Freight One wrote off 40,000 freight and is pursuing a fleet renewal program.
